Hi there,

First of all, Welcome to TechShristi.
Now coming back to your answer, please find our answe below.

1. No, Experience is not an citeria in the Campus Placement. Companies are coming to campus for recently qualified CMA, who are fresher and not experienced.

Why I am telling this??
Because, I was completely fresher at the time i got selected in the campus. I had even not done the 6 month training at the time of my selection. But still i got the highest package in the campus.

2. It doesn't matter whether you are a ranker or not, if you get selected in the campus then you will get the same salary that others will get. I mean a standard salary is given to all student who get selected in the campus. This is also a reason for not having experience as citeria. Because, if they want to hire expeirenced guy then different salary needs to pay to them.

Further, who the hell go to College Campus to hire expeirenced person. Do you think, companies will find any experienced guy in the college campus?

Hope your queries is clear now. If you still face any confusion then feel free to reply to post. We will be happy to help you. But a small request to you, please share this website with your friends.
Further, request you to please share small write up on CMA related any tips or material.

Yes, you heard correctly. The same salary is offered to the students who get selected on the campus. You will be further shocked to know that even experienced guys are offered an almost same salary for the similar position.
How?
Simple, In the Organization, say 'X', all the Regional Finance Manager will have the same salary. In my organization, there is four Regional Finance Manager say East, West, North, and South. The salary of all the four Finance Manager is almost same with a variation of +-2% only.
This is because, when a organization hires a finance manager from the outside it is also asking for your salary slip. If the company can not afford you to pay you more amount then they will not shortlist you. (This is what is happening to me right now. because of high salary package I am not getting a new job)
In my organization, at my position, everyone has the same salary structure.

Still not convinced. Let me share the real example.

In 2014, overall two students were selected by the company X. Out of this two one was me and another was my friend. We both have done MBA and ICWA from the same institute and in fact, is my neighbor also. We both get selected on the campus together and offered the same salary. Yes, not a single rupee difference.

I am also in touch with around 7 to 8 students who were selected by in WIPRO in 2014 and was offered an almost same salary.

So, experience does not decide your salary but it decides your position in the organization and your position will decide your salary package. I got a package of 10 lakhs at the time of my placement and you know i was fresher at that time.
And last year, my boss you got selected in the campus got a package of 14 Lakhs and even he was fresher. The only difference between me and him is the degree and position. In my organization, CA are superior than CMA.

Note 1) Whatever I had discussed above is the big organization like HUL etc
2) Sorry for the bad English. But currently it is 1.10 AM and I am replying you after coming back to home from the office.

Good Night. Have a Sweet Dream.

If you are asking particularly for the Campus Placement then I suggest you to select the company that approach the first. Do not bargain with them. As a fresher, you can't bargain with them.
