Samvatsari is the last day of Paryushana --the eight or ten day festival of Jainism.It is greatest festival of Jain People, but since india is a land of diversity, all indian celebrate this festival through the India.On this day, we used to tell every one Michhami Dukkadam.It mean that:

On this auspicious occasion of Jain Samvatsari,
I am apologetic for everything if I have impair you knowingly or unknowingly in any ways by my action, my talk or my thought. Please pardon me with your full affection
Michhami Dukkadam.
